My Story

What I love about life is we can re-write our stories at any time. When our life's pages become tattered and dog-earred, when we're taking a path that's leading nowhere or unhealthy, right then and there we can change course. We can skip ahead into a new chapter.

My story isn't full of earth-shattering, front page headlines, but it's mine and I'm proud of it. Every single word, moment, accomplishment and disappointment belongs to me, and me alone. Some of my chapters are funny. Others painful and heartbreaking. Still others are filled with twists and plot changes so profound that even I am stunned when I re-read them. I believe my best chapter is yet to come.

Who am I? Most importantly, I am a mother, a friend, a sister. I believe in the power of gratitude. I am also passionate about work and I am a writer, marketing consultant and event planner. I call Northern California home.

I created this website for two reasons: 1) For a place to keep my blog, "Through the Looking Glass," and other samples of my professional work and 2) as a creative outlet. After feeling like the proverbial hamster on a wheel, spinning in the same spot day after day, I vowed to re-ignite my life through new projects each day. Creating this website was one of them.
